As a seasoned engineer and avid angler, his expertise is shaped by his extensive time spent aboard charter yachts, where he has navigated the unique engineering challenges of life on the water. Fish's commitment to safety, paired with his in-depth knowledge of yacht systems, guarantees a seamless and worry-free experience for everyone on board.
Fish is also an avid extreme angler, eager to share the thrill of the catch with guests. Whether he's troubleshooting an engine or guiding you to the best fishing spots, Fish is committed to making your stay aboard Chanson enjoyable, safe, and memorable.

Melina Leblanc

Nationality: Canadian

Melina is a French Canadian originally from Montreal, Canada, who found her true calling on the stunning island of Barbados. It was here that her passion for the ocean flourished and her fascination with the Yachting Industry began to take shape. Eager to deepen her understanding, Melina became maritime certified and subsequently moved to Fort Lauderdale. There, she secured her first position on a 52M superyacht, marking the beginning of an exciting journey in the industry. With eight years of experience across both private and charter yachts, Melina brings a wealth of knowledge to the interior team, ensuring that each guest’s needs are expertly met. Her warm, welcoming, and bubbly personality creates a comforting atmosphere that makes every guest feel at home. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and cherishing moments with her husband and their beloved cat.

Mike Partin

Engineer

Nationality: American

Mike hails from Norfolk, Virginia, and embodies the spirit of an outdoor enthusiast. His passion for fishing and the great outdoors naturally guided him to the world of sailing, where he navigated his
way up to working on yachts. With a strong background in engineering, Mike excels at ensuring that every vessel is meticulously maintained and in top condition. Guests can relax with confidence,
knowing that their safety is in expert hands whenever Mike is on board.

Janette, originally from Poland and Ukraine, has spent the past few years in Spain, where her proximity to the sea sparked a deep passion for yachting. With extensive experience in the hospitality industry both ashore and onboard, Janette is committed to providing guests with attentive, professional care, always delivered with a warm and welcoming smile.
Beyond her role on the yacht, Janette has a keen interest in psychology, health, and wellness. During her time off, she loves staying active, whether it’s paddle boarding, beach outings, or exploring new ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her dedication to hospitality and enthusiasm for a vibrant, balanced life make her an invaluable addition to your experience aboard.

Daniel Hoenig

Nationality: Australian

With over 20 years of global experience, Daniel is a seasoned and dynamic chef specializing in yacht,
estate, private island, and resort settings. His culinary style is creative, fresh, and vibrant—always
evolving and made entirely from scratch.
Daniel's expertise spans Modern Australian, Eastern European, Kosher, Mediterranean, and Asian fusion
cuisine. He is highly adept at catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and restrictions with ease
and confidence. Before joining the yachting world, Daniel served as Head Chef at a renowned seafood
restaurant on the Elwood Beach waterfront, which was awarded #1 by the Australian Good Food Guide
Magazine in Melbourne. Outside the galley, Daniel is an adventurer at heart, with passions for mountain
climbing, skiing, working out, and exploring new destinations.
