With over ten years of hands-on experience, he began his career as a Deckhand aboard M/Y Aurora, steadily progressing through increasingly senior roles — from Second Officer on M/Y Elegant 007 to Chief Officer on prestigious vessels such as M/S Kapetan Antonis, M/Y ISEA, and M/T Adriana.
Today, he leads the deck team aboard PARADISE, where his calm authority, precise navigation, and guest-focused mindset ensure a seamless and elevated onboard experience. Whether coordinating complex operations or assisting guests with ease and professionalism, he ensures that every detail reflects excellence, safety, and the timeless magic of life at sea.

Dimitrios has been sailing professionally since 1989, building an impressive career that spans decades in the yachting industry. Throughout this time, he has extensively cruised the Mediterranean aboard luxury yachts ranging from 20 to 67 meters, gaining invaluable experience across a wide variety of vessels and operating environments.
His long-standing maritime career has equipped him with exceptional technical expertise, outstanding boat-handling skills, and a thorough understanding of yacht operations and maintenance. With an in-depth knowledge of the Mediterranean's most remarkable destinations, Dimitrios also contributes valuable insight when planning memorable itineraries and experiences for guests.
Known for his professionalism, reliability, and calm approach, he is dedicated to ensuring the vessel operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards at all times. Thanos is a very experienced and talented Chef who acquires dithyrambic evaluations even by the most demanding clients for his mouthwatering dishes. He started working in the HO.RE.CA industry in 1989 and soon he became a F&B Manager, Maître d’ Otel, and Restaurant Manager in hotels and restaurants in Greece. His career as a Chef started in 1996 and after some years, he became a Head Chef and Executive Chef in hotels, restaurants, shipping companies, and private catering companies in Greece and abroad. During the last years, he has also been working as a Private Chef in Greece and Switzerland and as a Yacht Chef.
With his charming and pleasant personality and his will to create the best for his guests, Thanos offers a culinary experience to remember on board QUESTA e VITA. He also enjoys organizing amazing theme nights, barbeques on the beach, and any event which will offer guests memorable experiences.
Thanos has studied Business Administration at the University of Patras, Tourism, Culinary Arts at Gordon Blue Academy (Paris, France), and Butler Arts at Butler Academy (London, UK).
